Youth training center (Borama)

Opening a youth training center in Borama marks a pivotal step towards fostering youth empowerment in the community. Through your support, nestled within the vibrant tapestry of Borama’s cultural fabric, this center will serve as a sanctuary for young people, offering a diverse array of resources and support networks. The essence of the Awdal Development Fund is people helping themselves, creating sustainable futures. This youth training center echoes just that, providing opportunities and resources for young people to help themselves. The center will house various skills workshops, community dialogue, and advocacy work, pushing youth to use and share their voice and thrive. An important component of the skill workshops is to bring back the art of handcraft production and open worldwide markets for these products. By donating to this project, each initiative and program will work to promote a more equitable region, with opportunities available for and created by the youth of Borama.
